⭐️ WHAT A WEEKEND ⭐️
NIF 2026 did not disappoint. I am so incredibly proud of our little team and how they pulled together to make things run smoothly. Thank you to everyone who helped , tried to feed us , kept eyes on all rings and washed white legs numerous times.
Katie and duke outdone themselves to win all of their ridden classes. A lovely 4th place in the rider over 16 Connemara workers , 1st place 90 performance going on to get reserve champion , and with an unlucky pole in their festival MM workers class they still achieved 8th place
Ellie and her new young pony Hazel had an educational weekend unfortunately some saddle slipping issues meant a pole in the over 16 workers class and we had to pull her from her remaining jumping classes. However, they still had a great weekend learning the showing ropes and Hazel behaving impeccably at their first away show coming home with a 4th in the over 16 Connemara ridden. Lots to come for these pair as their partnership grows.
Sophie and her favourite boy Trix jumped a fabulous clear to come 2nd in their 65cm performance working hunter class . They totally bossed their way around the championship in their first ever evening performance wowing the judges to be pulled reserve champion (will forever be a proud auntie moment). They also came home with a 6th in 55 performance class and 6th in rider up to 16 equitation class (22 in class).
Miss Layla and twilight had a ball enjoying twilights first away show at his grand age of 21. She kept us all giggling as usual. They took part in the massive lead rein class and lead rein working hunter smiling all the way and finally they got a lovely 4th place in the veteran pony class which Layla was over the moon about . Just slightly disappointed she couldn’t show the judge her cantering skills. But maybe next year.
Last but not least miss Dixie. My nerves weren’t long disappearing as this little mare jumped around the main ring without a care. No placings until the last day were she jumped an impeccable clear if I do say so myself to be placed 1st in our performance working hunter class.
Thanks to everyone for your continued support, Kind words and encouragement
