An Introduction from Born to Run

Walking Dogs in all Cornish weather is a job we love, enriching the life of dogs and owners.

We love getting a group of dogs together for fun and play. Dogs respond differently in a group and soon learn to get along with others. Group socialisation is close to the natural habitat of all dogs.

We run fun weekly puppy socialisation classes each week. Puppies gain confidence and social skills within the wider dog community and the Born to Run family.

Canine First Aid Trained, including CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation).

Enhanced DBS Checked.

Having experienced the privilege of studying the Canine Behaviour of Wolf packs in their natural habitat within Yellowstone National Park; the study of domestic dogs was a natural progression. (Wolves were reintroduced during 1995, due to the National Park becoming overgrazed, causing defoliation and an unbalanced ecosystem).

A dog group mentality displays extreme loyalty and devotion within a group, which binds the dogs to play and socialise as a team. Cheryl and daughter Shynne have also trained in Natural Horsemanship (similar reward techniques apply to dogs).

If you are cautious about letting off the lead or worried about recall, we can offer guidance and support. To allay any fears, initially an off lead walk/adventure can take place in a safe secure fun paddock, with or without the company of other dogs. Cheryl is a registered student with the College of Canine Studies ( Canine Behaviour).

Puppies to Senior dogs are welcome. Learn through play Puppy Socialisation from nursery dogs to the wider and more experienced dog community.

All services include flexible pick-up and drop-off to/from home or work address.

We accommodate shift workers with walks later in the day.
