Please be vigilant while on your walk in this super hot weather, we have had a sighting of an Adder on Major Oaks that was basking on the path in this intense heat, unfortunately it has resulted in a dog being bitten.

We feel the most professional thing to do is to inform all our customers this has happened so you are forewarned.

It’s something we haven’t had issues with all the years we have owned Knightswood but nevertheless we feel we need to make you aware.

So please be vigilant, anywhere you go, not just at Knightswood but anywhere you take your dogs right now, there are reports of them in gardens, parks, woodlands, coastal footpaths, anywhere, and the heatwaves are bringing them out into the open sunshine, it seems to be a year for them and wherever there’s a lovely natural environment there’s always a slim chance.

Morning all

If you are heading to the Welly Walks today please be aware that the road is closed between WhiteCross Cross Roads/ Whiteacres Holiday Park to just outside Knightswood.

It’s only for today but please come in from the Trekenning roundabout/ st Columb end past the racecourse and Trebudannon.

You could also use the route below which brings you directly opposite our entrance.

Hope it doesn’t cause too many issues.

🐶🐶🐶DOG SHOWS OR AGILITY 🐶🐶🐶

Are there any dog agility groups or Dog Show/ Breed show organisers looking for a new outdoor venue for classes/ competitions?

If you are we might have just what you’re looking for.
Massive amounts of parking, toilets and super floodlit sand and fibre arena surfaces which are brilliantly stable underfoot for the quickest of agility rounds, plus a grass surface too.
