We are urgently looking for a loving foster home for a pregnant Shepherd x Collie who has recently come into our care while an ongoing legal case is being resolved. She is due to give birth in very soon and deserves a safe, loving environment where she can feel secure and supported.

💔 She deserves so much more than giving birth in kennels.
We would love to find her a calm foster home where she can settle, safely give birth, and raise her puppies until they reach 8 weeks of age.

💛 What's involved?
🏡 A quiet, safe space for mum and puppies
🐶 Supporting mum as she raises her litter
🍼 Monitoring the puppies as they grow and develop
📸 Providing regular updates and photos to our team
🚗 Transporting mum and puppies to any necessary veterinary appointments
❤️ Plenty of patience, kindness, and reassurance

We'll provide all food, equipment, veterinary care, and ongoing support throughout the foster period.

This beautiful young Boxer X Rottweiler urgently needs a safe, loving foster home while she waits for her ongoing case to be resolved.

Right now, she is really struggling 💔
Kennel life is overwhelming for her, and she becomes quite upset. She simply doesn’t understand, she just wants to be close to people again.

Because the truth is… she’s a dog who belongs in a home.

She’s a gentle, affectionate girl who loves cuddles, kisses, and being near her people. She recently spent a few days respite with a wonderful foster family, where she settled beautifully. She lived with dogs and children aged 6+, snuggled on the sofa, cuddled into the children, slept on the bed, and enjoyed calm evenings. She is clean in the home and thrives in that environment.

𝗔 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿:
💛 So affectionate and people-focused
🐾 Playful, curious and full of life

🐾 Very clever and enjoys learning

🐾 Loves treats and is very food motivated

She can sometimes forget how big she is when she’s excited, especially when jumping up for kisses or during play, but she responds really well to gentle guidance.

She can feel overwhelmed at times, but with familiar people she truly shines. She is generally friendly with other dogs out and about and enjoys trying to initiate play. She is still young and still learning, so she would really benefit from a fosterer who can be patient with her and continue her training.

🏡 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀:
🐾 A calm, loving home where she can feel safe
🐾 Someone around most of the time to help her settle

🐾 Introducing Doggy Day Out 🐾

We’re really pleased to be launching a brand new initiative at the centre, Doggy Day Out.

This programme gives some of our dogs the opportunity to spend a full day out of the kennels, enjoying new environments, building confidence and giving us valuable insight into how they cope outside of the centre. It’s a simple idea, but one that can make a meaningful difference to a dog’s wellbeing and their journey towards rehoming.

It’s also something that can be really rewarding for people. If you miss having a dog in your life, aren’t in a position to have one of your own, or would simply enjoy some canine company for the day, this offers a lovely way to spend time with a dog while making a genuine difference.

Each dog will be carefully assessed by the team, and only those who are ready and would benefit from the experience will take part. There may also be times where no dogs are available for outings, depending on individual needs and who is in the centre at the time.

For those that are suitable, every outing is supported. Dogs will head out with an ‘Adopt Me’ lead cover and a Doggy Day Out backpack with everything needed for the day, and each match will be carefully made to ensure a safe and positive experience for both the dog and the person taking them out.

If you have a free day and would like to take a dog out, you can call the centre at least 24 hours in advance. The team will be able to let you know if there is a suitable dog available and, if so, arrange a time for you to come in and collect them for the day, with everything in place to make it a safe and positive experience.
