Captive breeding is very important to myself and many others in this hobby. It is also essential for us to make a conscious effort to look after the wild population.

Unfortunately, the bad side of the hobby is importers bringing in 1000s of wild-caught isopods to sell on to customers, which is morally and ethically wrong. Some species are under threat of extinction due to the pet trade destroying their home, all just for quick money.

The situation has brought some of us sellers together, with a pledge focused on reducing damage done to isopod's native ecosystems.

If you could take a couple of minutes to read the flyer it would be awesome. We can make change happen together 🫶🙏

Had a fantastic day at The Great Ant Exhibition in Bristol today!
