BuddyBix are homemade (all biscuits & mixes) or lovingly sourced natural vegan wheat free dog treats. He is after all just like your dog, one of the family.

I've always been a keen home baker so it felt natural to have a go at baking for our little sausage, Buddy! The first BuddyBix biscuit was well received by Buddy and his furry friends but I wanted to be sure I was baking not just with love but with care in mind too. After all ALL dogs deserve a treat right?! I started to study canine nutrition and was shocked by what went into some of the mass pro

duced treats. Ingredient lists are often lengthy, misleading and frankly confusing and often contain high sugar, fat and salt, not good for our pawsome pals. I wanted to make treats that were more wholesome out of human grade, quality ingredients and where possible organic BUT still tasty! All treats contain zero nasties and are 100% VEGAN so are egg & dairy free too & as we also opt to keep them wheat free as it is such a common allergy, BuddyBix treats mean that even dogs with delicate tummies get to be able to have a treat too! (obviously any dietary concerns speak to your vet & always supervise dogs whilst eating and provide fresh drinking water. These treats are aimed at dogs aged 12 weeks plus and as a guide, treats should not exceed 10% of their daily food intake and treats are not meant to replace their complete food)

Nothing weird is added to extend shelf life, now when it comes to biscuits we cant compete with the lengthy shelf life of a highly processed one but we can offer guilt free treats baked low and slow and dehydrated so goodness is locked in & moisture removed. They stay fresh in their heat sealed food grade bags for approximately 2 to 3 months. Once open however consume within 3 to 4 weeks and store in a cool dry place. The bags are resealable (& recyclable) or pop in a tin. They can soften over time but they wont spoil in this time & taste testers have confirmed they like them fresh from the oven, dehydrated or opened from their vacuum storage! In addition to our BuddyBix home made biscuit range we now have a BuddyBix Bake at Home range coming, again all my own recipes & made in Buddy's kitchen & I also source quality natural treats that compliment our home made ranges. Some boring bits.... I am fully registered with the council and trading standards approved. I have completed a safer food handler course and gained a distinction in a canine nutrition diploma. I comply to the EC Feed hygiene regulation (183/2005) & I hold public liability insurance. Buddy & I hope you enjoy these treats! �

I received a lovely thank-you letter with my newsletter from Ability Dogs 4 young people IOW. Of course Buddy (space invader) had to help me read it!

So it turns out the actual total raised at The Spring Tails event was an epic £646 after some rouge raffle money was added!!
