We’re looking for a passionate Full-Time Sales Assistant to join our team — 5 days a week (40 hours), including weekends and bank holidays.
Love fishkeeping but not sure you know everything yet? Don’t panic — if you’re enthusiastic and eager to learn, we’ll teach you everything you need to know on your journey with us!
About the Role:
You’ll be hands-on with the daily care and maintenance of our wide variety of livestock, while also providing exceptional customer service. From helping customers choose the right fish to keeping our store looking its best, you’ll play a key part in making every visit special.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Caring for our livestock to the highest standards.
Keeping the store clean, well-presented, and welcoming.
Greeting customers warmly and offering friendly, knowledgeable advice for fishkeepers of all levels.
Promoting responsible fishkeeping at all times.
Working efficiently with your team in a busy retail environment.
Processing sales accurately and ensuring customers leave happy.
Stocking shelves neatly and making sure everything is priced and available.
About You:
Positive, practical, and a real team player.
Self-motivated, organised, and eager to learn.
Reliable, hardworking, and genuinely enthusiastic about fishkeeping.
Confident communicating with people from all walks of life.
