Vets Now is here for you when your regular vet practice is closed over the festive period. 🎄

We will be open 24 hours on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, the 27th & 28th. For New Year our clinic will be open 24 hours on Thursday 1st of January.

Outside of these dates, our clinic will operate as normal providing our out-of-hours service and care you can count on.

Meet Chester, a true fighter who battled tetanus and won! 💪🐶 Transferred to our Vets Now Newport clinic from his daytime vet, he spent two weeks under intensive care with our team.

Tetanus is an infection and in Chester's case, made his muscles tense and stiff - making it hard for him to move, open his mouth, or swallow. During treatment, Chester was always eager to make friends with every dog passing by his kennel. Our nurses kept him entertained with plenty of cuddles and even YouTube videos of dog walks!

His owner, Hannah, shared "the team made an incredibly scary time so much easier. The care and compassion Chester received helped us through those two long weeks. Looking at him now, you’d never know how poorly he was! He’s back home, loving life, and being spoiled more than ever.”

Since going home, Chester has made an amazing recovery and even came back to visit - with a brand-new ball to show off! 🥎😍
