Bracken's Dog Rescue Bracken’s is a non-profit making dog rescue, slowing down now after 42 years but still helping where I can.

Donations always help as still have resident elderly dogs and am also helping Ukranian dog rescues.

After buying my house and having a horrific back injury, I felt I was a waste of space and that I had to do something helpful. Two dogs were in desperate need of help, I went to their aid and this is how the whole rescue started 42 years ago. I now have a big problem. A local farmer wants to make a road through my land and has erected a gate for vehicles to go through mine and my neighbour's land to Long Lane.
Not only has this already caused unbelievable amounts of stress to myself, I'm frightened about the safety and security of the rescue dogs I care for. I'm liaising with an expert in the field so keeping all fingers crossed and appreciate any support. I hope everyone is safe with all of this flooding, it's even reached my front room and the carpet is soaked.
P.S I'm in desperate need of some bird boxes as most of mime have either blown down or broken in the bad weather. I can supply the materials.

I have an unused workshop with all the tools a carpenter would need. Is there a anybody who's a retired carpenter who would like to help other retired people learn to make things.
