So, what do you actually get inside Dog Training Made Simple?

This isn’t a collection of vague tips telling you to be more consistent and hope for the best.

The guide covers:

🐾 How dogs learn and why reward-based training works

🐾 How to recognise relaxed body language and early signs of stress

🐾 How to introduce clear markers and cues

🐾 How to teach your dog everyday skills including recall, loose lead walking, leave it, Magic Mat and more

🐾 Toilet training and introducing a crate positively

🐾 Common struggles including barking, jumping up, puppy mouthing and resource guarding

🐾 Helping a newly adopted rescue dog settle

🐾 An introduction to separation anxiety and reactive behaviour

🐾 How to recognise when your dog needs individual professional support

It contains nine straightforward chapters and a quick-reference glossary, without expecting you to understand complicated training language.

You can read it on your phone, tablet or computer, or print a copy for your personal use.

It is currently £4.44 for launch week.

Somewhere along the way, Cockapoos got labelled as "easy family dogs."
The reality?
Many are incredibly clever, sensitive and emotionally switched on.
Wonderful dogs...
But not always as straightforward as people expect.
Anyone else find their Cockapoo keeps them on their toes? 😂

Good dog-training guidance shouldn’t be reserved for those who can afford one-to-one support.

We’re living through a time when many people are having to think carefully about every penny they spend.

That doesn’t mean they care any less about their dogs. It doesn’t mean they aren’t committed. And it certainly doesn’t mean they should be left with outdated “pack leader” advice, random social media tips or methods that rely on fear and punishment.

That is why I created Dog Training Made Simple.

It gives dog owners an affordable way to access clear, practical and force-free guidance that they can work through at home.

It won’t replace individual professional help for serious or complex behaviour problems and it doesn’t pretend to.

But it will give you a solid foundation, help you understand your dog better and show you how to begin teaching useful everyday skills.

The launch price is £4.44 for one week. Grab your copy via the 🔗 in Bio

I know I’ve been quiet on here for the past couple of weeks.

But that's because I’ve been putting my time and energy into creating something I’ve wanted to make available for a while.

I’m very aware that not everyone can access one-to-one dog training.

For some people, the cost simply isn’t manageable right now. Others are trying to fit everything around work, family and daily life. Some live too far away from the right trainer, while others just need a clear and reliable place to begin.

But not being able to work with a trainer shouldn’t mean being left to struggle alone or trying to piece together random, conflicting advice from social media.

So I’ve created Dog Training Made Simple.

It’s a practical, force-free guide that helps you understand how your dog learns, recognise what their body language is telling you and communicate more clearly.

It also includes straightforward help with:

🐾 Recall and loose lead walking
🐾 Jumping up and excessive barking
🐾 Toilet and crate training
🐾 Puppy mouthing and nipping
🐾 Leave it and Magic Mat
🐾 Resource guarding and furniture manners
🐾 Helping a newly adopted rescue dog settle
🐾 Understanding the basics of separation anxiety and reactive behaviour
🐾 Knowing when your dog needs more specialised support

You can work through it at home, in your own time, without fear, force or intimidation.

For the first week, it’s available for £4.44, roughly the price of a high-street coffee. After that, it will increase to £9.97.

This one phrase, I see repeated over and over in groups, has probably caused more frustration than almost any other.

"They'll grow out of it." Usually with the Magic number of 2 years following it.

Sometimes they do, but equally, sometimes they don't.

The difficulty is that nobody knows which behaviours will improve with maturity and which ones will become more deeply established over time.

I've spoken to people who were told their Cockapoo would "grow out of" barking, pulling, separation anxiety, reacting to other dogs or struggling to settle.

Months, sometimes years later, they were still waiting, and what started as something small, is now driving their family apart.

Dogs do mature, their brains develop, and their confidence changes, but behaviour isn't something they leave behind as they get older. For every day they're practising the behaviours that work for them, those behaviours get repeated and repeated, resulting in them becoming stronger and stronger with each repetition.

That's why I always encourage people not to wait and hope.

You don't need to panic every time your dog does something you don't like, but equally, don't assume time alone will solve it.

Understanding why it's happening and working on it early is a much better place to start.

Has anyone ever told you your Cockapoo would "grow out of" something, but they haven't?
