Here’s to all the equestrian carer’s keeping our VIP’s warm, fed and watered even if it means getting the one reliable tap on the farm defrosted and bucketing water into the stables when the rest of the pipes are frozen ❄️. See you in a few hours fellow equestrians for another ‘top up’! 💦 🤟🏻

☀️Beating the heat☀️

Measures we take here at Warren Beeches to ensure our lovely residents stay cool and comfortable during these excessive temperatures :

🌞An early start to get all horses in work exercised before the temperature starts ramping up is first priority.

🌞The early start also gives our horses that are stabled over night the chance to get a few extra hours in the paddock before coming in to get away from the rays. Our airy barn with Yorkshire boarding makes for a perfect spot to keep cool and a nice air flow running through.

🌞We also give our lovely residents multiple cold hose downs just to keep them extra comfortable through the very hot hours of the day.

And with our guys that live out 24/7?

🌞If there is no constant shade in the paddock they too come in while it’s cooking outside.

🌞But for the others that have ample shade in their fields; we put extra water and some exciting forage such as haylage spread along the shade to encourage them to stay in the cool! (We all know horses need a little direction from time to time!)

Debut outing for a couple of our babies today. Owen and Mocca did amazingly well coming 3rd in a huge class. While Luca’s excitement with the very busy show brought out his true delinquent side! Hats off to our head girl who’s handling talent really shone through. Keeping Luca as settled as possible with her quiet yet confidence giving manner. We are very proud to have her part of the team 🥰

Farewell Cooper! 👋🏻🥲
It has been an absolute pleasure retraining this gent of an exracehorse.
And we have been fortunate enough to be put in touch with lovely who fell in love with him as much as we have.
Best of luck to the new partnership and we are looking forward to seeing what you get up to in the future! ❤️🍀🦄
