Wednesday is fresh fish day in Newent !
🐠 8:30am - 1pm @ the large Coop 🐟

Andy and Donna have been bringing fresh fish to Newent for 15 years since Budgens requested them to compliment the stores food offer. The Co-op continues to welcome both to Newent. Andy has been in the fish trade for 43 years.

Fresh Fish is picked up in the morning at 1:30am at Fleetwood some 200 miles away.

The most popular fish now is salmon taking 1st place over cod.

The strangest fish sold is squid and calamari.

After the Wednesday morning market Andy and Donna stop over in Huntley.
