Look who's back 😢

Unfortunately, things didn't work out in Edgar's new home. Due to his difficult past, he showed some resource guarding behaviour while playing ball and sadly nipped his new owner.

It's such a shame, as everyone had the best intentions, but these things can happen when a dog is still carrying the effects of previous experiences.

The important thing is that Edgar is safe, loved, and back with us. He'll be staying here while he settles, decompresses, and continues to build his confidence. We'll take things at his pace and make sure we're setting him up for success before searching for his forever home again.

He's still the same affectionate, gentle boy we know and adore, and we're determined to find the right match for him when the time is right. ❤️

Onwards and upwards, Edgar. Your perfect home is out there.

✨ Edgar Update ✨

We are delighted to share that Edgar has now gone to his forever home with a lovely retired couple. ❤️

From the moment they met him, it was clear they were absolutely smitten, and we couldn't have wished for a better match. Edgar has landed on all four paws and will be enjoying a life full of love, cuddles, walks, and plenty of attention.

Many of you have kindly asked if there was an adoption fee. Although we were happy simply to see Edgar safely settled, his new owners insisted on making a payment. We have therefore donated the money to Dogs 4 Rescue, helping them continue their incredible work supporting dogs in need. 🐾

Thank you to everyone who shared his story, offered advice, and supported him during his short stay with us. We may have only known Edgar for a little while, but he certainly left a paw print on our hearts.

Meet Edgar, the emergency foster we've welcomed into our home tonight. ❤️

Despite coming from a very difficult background, he is the calmest, gentlest, and most adorable boy you could ever meet.

Sadly, the RSPCA were unable to help, and every rescue we contacted was full, so Edgar needed somewhere safe to go.

Tonight he's warm, comfortable, and getting all the love he deserves. We're looking forward to helping him on the next part of his journey. 🐾

Only in Britain can a dog go from sunbathing to needing a parka in under 48 hours.

Chaos. Absolute chaos.

Honestly, British weather is like a dog with zoomies — absolutely no idea what it’s doing but causing chaos at full speed.

Benji & Hope started from a love of dogs (and a very special boy called Benji 💛), and grew into something I’m so proud to share with you all.
