They will learn all about:
- different feed types
- nutrition

- digestives systems

💕 These pony club days give the chance for our pony clubbers to earn badges they wouldn't normally be able to get! 💕

This is a reminder to all clients that you must drive 5mph down the drive and on the yard!

Can all clients please drive the down the drive and then through the main yard gates!

There is no parking outside these gates, you are also not able to turn around outside the gates as it is private property! ⚠️

⚠️ Hat safety ⚠️

We are asking that any client who has had a block of 6 lesson, now purchase their own hat where possible! ⛑️

We provide fitted hats but their are many benefits to owning your own:
- better fit
- less use
- better hygiene

We highly reccomened you go to your nearest Equestrian store and get a professional to fit your hat! 🐎

Anyone who already has their own hat, please check the image below and make sure it still complies with standards as these have recently changed! ✨️

Informative Post Incoming… 🐴

I received an email late last night, and while I’m absolutely not sharing this to shame the sender, I do want to use it as an opportunity to educate.

✨ All riding schools in the UK must hold a valid council-issued licence.

These licences come with star ratings—5 stars being the highest—and we are incredibly proud to have held a 5-star licence since the day we opened. This isn’t just a badge of honour—it reflects the high standards we are committed to every single day.

Obtaining this licence is no small task. It involves thorough inspections by the local authority and an independent veterinary surgeon, who assesses every pony’s health, behaviour, and suitability for riding school work. They also look at how they’re kept, looked after and health / riding plans.

✅ On top of that, we also hold:

- Public liability insurance
- Riding school insurance
- Instructor-specific insurance

Our instructors are all:

- DBS checked
- Trained in safeguarding
- Up to date with first aid qualifications

They also carry a variety of professional certifications. I myself am currently working towards my Coaching Stage 3 Certificate, which will make us one of the few riding schools to have a Stage 3 qualified coach and professional on site. I’m already stage 2 by the way 😉

🏛 We’re subject to ongoing regulatory checks, and yes—the paperwork and licensing process is extensive (and, let’s be honest, a bit of a headache)… but it’s absolutely worth it to ensure we’re doing things right.

🔍 Please make sure that anyone offering riding lessons is fully licensed.
You can easily check this on your local authority’s website—just Google it. The site will tell you:

- Whether they’re licensed
- What their current star rating is

❗Most importantly: If someone is offering you riding lessons on their own horses—even if you’re loaning them—and they don’t hold a riding school licence, they are breaking the law. Full stop.

We hope this helps clarify things for riders and parents alike. Let’s keep our industry safe, regulated, and professional—for the benefit of both horses and humans 💚

On this day we will be looking at why it is so important as a rider to maintain a level of fitness and how it can impact horses if we don’t

The day will include
🍎Diet and exercise for both horse and rider
🧘Pre ride stretch routine
👟Why flexibility is important for riders
🏃‍➡️How to keep ourselves fit and healthy

🦄As always each pony clubber will have a private lesson on mavros and a fun filled gymkhana focusing on team building🦄
