π’ March is Pet Poison Awareness Month, and weβre here to bust some myths about whatβs safe for your pup! While sharing snacks with your dog is tempting, some common human foods are toxic! β οΈ
π« Toxic to Dogs:
β Chocolate β Even a little can cause vomiting, seizures, and heart problems.
β Grapes & Raisins β Can cause kidney failure.
β Onions & Garlic β Damages red blood cells, leading to anemia.
β Xylitol (Artificial Sweetener) β Found in sugar-free gum, peanut butter, and sweets; can cause liver failure.
β Avocado β Contains persin, which is toxic in large amounts.
β Macadamia Nuts β Can cause weakness, tremors, and vomiting.
β Alcohol & Caffeine β Even small amounts can be deadly.
β Cooked Bones β Can splinter and cause choking or internal injuries.
