We’re thrilled to announce that Sarah and Rob are the new directors of Vets on the Meowve Tyne & Wear! 🎉

Sarah is a fantastic vet and I admire her so much as a friend and fellow cat crazy human being! 😻
Over the years of working with Sarah, she has already demonstrated how much she cares about our clients, their pets, and the team. I feel so lucky to have her and Rob taking the reins, and I know Vets on the Meowve Tyne & Wear is in the best hands. 💙

I will still be supporting behind the scenes but needed to step back so I can focus on supporting all of the Vets on the Meowve branches equally—and also get to spend more time with my family. ❤️ It has been an incredible 10 years, and I’ve absolutely loved every moment. What a journey it’s been! I can’t believe how far we’ve come, and now I get to watch Sarah, Rob, and the Vets on the Meowve team continue to provide the very best care. 🐾

Here is Evie 🐶🥰
Last week Annie and Christine visited to perform a general anaesthetic, Dental Xray and scale and polish 🦷
She didn’t need any extractions after we removed all tartar and checked her roots were ok on Dental Xray!

Evie is usually so nervous going to a veterinary practice. We gave her sedation in the house before performing the GA in the van and then when we were happy with her readings, we recovered her back in her bed with her mam. The first part of her recovery was in the van (see cute photo of her all snuggly)
This meant she was super chill and got back to herself very quickly 🥰

Remember, your pets will not show signs of pain in the way you would think. They usually will still eat and drink and won’t be vocal. They would only show these symptoms if they were in immense pain and we don’t want to get to that point!

If there is a smell, this means there will be pain. Just imagine if our mouths had tartar and gum inflammation.

Cuddles with Cookie 🥰

Cookie has no fear when it comes time for her annual health check and booster. Our vet Maria and nurse Ty were more than happy to give tummy rubs.

Meet Alfie, the most handsome Labrador with a heart as big as his love for treats! He was an absolute superstar for Sarah and Emma while they took an FNA sample from two lumps his owner was worried about. Well done Alfie and his lovely owner ❤️
