What’s that? Another 16 new boards just landed?

Yep. We’re not even half way through the last lot (which only arrived a week ago to be fair), now this.

We needed a restock of daughterboards, but ordering several thousand units slows down production, and I do so hate to wait. So a separate order went in for those with more new ones to make it seem worthwhile.

Mostly FuzzPups, so look away if you’re not a fan of the fiddly. There are five ‘normal’ ones though.

It’s been a busy weekend but we still managed to get the BBC-1, DEEPLP and UglyFace kits listed. On top of the Mini Boost, FuzzPup Astrotone, M**f Fuzz, GreaSiBox, Super Lead, Slate Drive, Metal Simplex and Briggs EP Boost that’s not too shabby a haul over the last ten days. Still shed loads to come.

Magic Buffer Booster Box, based on the Prestige. Hats off to the designer here. It’s stunningly good. Wound right back it’s a buffer. Twist the vol a bit and you’re boosting. More and it’s pushing the amp into beautiful breakup. Henceforth I’ll never be without one. Check it out. In store over the weekend.

Just time for one today, as Friday afternoons are about ‘all that other stuff that needs doing’.

Fred Briggs’ ‘64 Vox sounds great. Version 2 of the PCB. Handy tip if you’re doing layouts - check the specs of any parts you’re not familiar with. Look at that muckle diode!

Going to try reverse log for the headroom control as it seems a bit bunched, but it’ll be in store soon as.
