As we always do in extreme weather conditions…. if you have your dog booked in with us during this and don’t feel safe driving or walking your pups in, then please just give us a call to let us know and we can postpone your appointment …. Cancellations charges will not apply through bad snow and ice

⚠️ Yellow Weather Warning: Snow & Ice ⚠️
6am Wednesday – 6pm Thursday

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow and ice across the North East, covering:

Darlington • Durham • Gateshead • Hartlepool • Middlesbrough • Newcastle • North Tyneside • Northumberland • Redcar & Cleveland • South Tyneside • Stockton-on-Tees • Sunderland

Snow showers will move inland from the North Sea throughout Wednesday and Thursday, with some areas seeing significant accumulations:
• 2–5 cm possible at lower levels
• 5–10 cm on hills above 100m
• 15–20 cm possible above 300m

Strong gusts may develop at times, and isolated lightning is also possible.
Overnight, any thawed snow could refreeze, creating hazardous ice on roads and paths.

Take care if you’re out and about. Stay safe! ❄️

We’re now offering walk-in nail clips
Monday–Friday from *9:30 AM to 4:30 PM* — no appointment needed!

£8 - cash only

Please note …. If your dog is large or not a fan of nail trims, please call ahead to make sure we have enough groomers available to assist. Otherwise, we may not be able to complete the service at that time.
