Marcel is now home! Found 4.5miled away from home and a massive thanks to a lovely family who were wise enough to take notice he seemed lost and looked through Hectors House FB page where his missing poster was posted too.
No idea how he got all the way to Paignton but now just so relieved to have him back with us!
A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO YOU AND TO EVERYONE ELSE WHO HAS BEEN SO LOVELY AND SUPPORTIVE, AND TO THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN LOOKING OUT FOR HIM.

On Sunday I had to say the hardest Goodbye ever to Casper, the bravest, most courageous and lovable cat in the World. I adopted him following the sudden death of my friend, who had always insisted that as he'd previously been a stray, he could never live with other cats. He joined my 7 in October 2024 and quickly made his presence felt, trying to become Top Cat. It didn't work and after a couple of months he settled down to become a very lovable shadow bringing sheer joy. Every night he slept on my pillow, pawing me when he wanted the light out - he always won. Last December he had a kidney removed because of a tumour and recovered against all the odds to bring another five months of love to the Davidson household. If love could have saved him, he would have lived forever. You were a special boy Casper and you are now in the care of Anne, your first mum who I just know would be waiting for you ❤️❤️
