What a day to finish the week on, there was even a tree come down on Porthill bank! 😳
My 1st week without Max, it’s so strange without him. Sidney is now a regular on a Wednesday so we had fun collecting bottles, sticks & even a carrot?! 🥕
Thursday was a beautiful day in the sunshine but today was something else! (Hence a lack of photos with heavy rain & wind on some days!)
Lots of personal space issues! (See pics!) lots of cuddles that I needed & a whole lot of fun walks.

😔😢💔 The hardest goodbye to Max today 😢😔💔
From my very first walk with him to my very last one ever, and he hadn’t got a clue nor does he realise he’s never going to see me again. Just so heartbreaking, I’ve experienced plenty of dogs passing away & that’s awful, but never saying goodbye to a dog under these circumstances. He’s been a huge part of my life, as was his lovely mum & family, he’s by far been the hardest dog I’ve walked due to his extreme reactivity (the only dog that’s ever bit me & he did it twice in one week!!!) but he’s been the most rewarding as I’ve turned him around all by myself & made him the amazing boy he is today. I have so many photos & a million memories. Now go be a good boy in your new home Max, I shall miss you terribly & remember you forever. Make me proud & live the rest of your life happy & loved. And for anyone that says “it’s just a dog”……it really is not. I feel like I’m losing one of my own, the coming weeks are going to be so strange & quiet. 😢😔💔🐾

As hard as this is for me to do I’m doing it for my boy Max & his owners ❤️ he’s such a huge part of my life & has been for some years & he deserves to have a home full of love like he’s always been used to ❤️
So if anybody could offer Max a home or if you know anybody who can then please get in touch with me or if you need any further information at all. He won’t be going to just anybody. He would make the perfect pet, he’s 7 years old & as much as he adores his long walks with me he loves a good snuggle & snooze too. Such a handsome boy who deserves to be part of a family that adore him ❤️🙏🏼🐾

Some pics from last week where I had new boy Sidney on Wednesday for 2 walks just as a one off, he was such a goof boy and Amelia as my little helper with Holly & Bella. All the usual recruits were as gorgeous as ever and as good as gold! Trying to remember to take more photos but it’s a struggle getting my hand out of a warm glove now the temperature has changed! 🥶🍁🍂🍃🍂🍁

So today I’ve had my very own dog walking business for 7️⃣ whole years!!! 🎉🐾🐕‍🦺🦮🐩🐕
So many wonderful memories, a phone bursting full of dog photos!! some dogs that I’m still walking now from my very first day & lots of new additions to my gang. Sadly a lot of dogs & humans I’ve lost along the way too😔💔but lifelong friends made & many millions of miles walked. Can’t begin to imagine how many pairs of shoes I’ve worn out!
Come rain, shine, snow infact whatever the weather it’s still by far the best job in the world & I wouldn’t change it for anything.
Thanks for all being so amazing! I’m very lucky I get to do what I love!

Adorable interaction for Max yesterday…made all the more special by the fact that when I initially started walking him, Max was by far the most dog reactive dog I have ever experienced (& I have walked quite a few with reactivity issues!) but worse than that..he had redirectional aggression too with him being a collie (herder) & I have the scars still on both of my bum cheeks to prove it!!! Max had to be muzzled as he went totally crazy if he saw a dog that was miles away posing him no threat & would try to bite me.
After lots & lots of hard work & training on every walk just look at him now!! He was a rescue dog & I’m sure he only ever had negative interactions with dogs if any at all, he just didn’t know how to behave. He’s come on so far & now he loves meeting other dogs on our walks as you can see! 👌🏻🐾

Just to keep you all in the loop, I’m no longer having spinal surgery after seeing my new consultant on Friday. He wants to try other things 1st & that will be the last option once other things have been exhausted. I’m still on pain relief & having no time off 🙏🏼

Sorry I’ve not posted in a while….safe to say I’ve had a lot going on 🥹😔😢 however my phone is so full of photos from the past few weeks so here they are!
I’ve had Maisie staffy for a week & Flossy for 2 weeks. This coming week I have Barney & Missy extra too. Plenty of busy days, fun times, sunshine, heavy downpours & lots of cuddles & love 🥰❤️
My Roxie is back at the vets in the morning but thankfully is a lot better & my ankle is less swollen so I can walk well, I just have a swollen foot which I can cope with. Let’s see what the next few weeks throws my way 🫣🙄🫤🐾🦮🐕‍🦺🐕🐩
