The most popular of the rainbow boas is back in store!! This little one is smashing food and has just finished a perfect shed with us too 😍

Did you know that rainbow boas get their shine from microscopic ridges in their scales that reflect light, causing the rainbow they’re known for! These colours are most visible after a shed or under good quality UVB or LED lighting

Jim our panther chameleon is here to say it’s our late night once again!! So whether you’re wanting live food, frozen food, other accessories or even a new scaly pet I’ll be here until 7pm 💚

Our live food delivery is due anytime now, as well as us having a huge delivery including branches, substrate, a huge amount of decor and a few more setups that will be available soon! 👀

The ever popular horsefield tortoises are back in stock!! Horsefields are one of the most popular species of tortoise for a reason, their small adult size and easy going nature makes them perfect for almost anyone 💚

At Just Scales we offer complete tortoise setups to ensure that our reptiles have the best environments in their new homes. Why not speak to us about a tortoise setup today? 👀

As always proof of setup is required to purchase any animal, horsefield tortoises should have a minimum of a 4x2 tortoise table with suitable UVB and heating controlled by a thermostat as well as a well balanced diet including different weeds, flowers and plants with the correct supplements 🐢

It’s Bank Holiday Monday and WE ARE OPEN 🦎
The shop will be open until 3 today, we’ve had some incredible reptiles in over the weekend so why not get out of the rain and have a look! 👀

On a more serious note, thank you to everyone for keeping us so extremely busy this summer. There’s a few things happening over the coming weeks that could not have been done without everyone that’s come to Just Scales 💚

Ooooo look at these!!! 2 Pack Pro Rep Basking bulbs ☀️ For those that need a spare (or a spare for the spare if you’re extra prepared!)

Some of you have already noticed changes made to the basking bulbs themselves, they’ve been changed in order to allow for a more even and consistent basking zone. Whilst the bulbs may look slightly different, we’ve already noticed a huge change whilst trying these out and they’ve definitely been a hit 🦎

2 packs available now, 150W sold out already but more are due next week! Singles are also available as normal

Hopefully this huge delivery lasts us all the way through the bank holiday weekend! 😅 If anyone needs me, you might find me hiding behind the locust or vivarium mountain I’ve created!

We’ve had a huge delivery of live food and other accessories this morning, there’s nearly 500 tubs of just locusts and we have some silkworms too!!
