Here at NAWT, our dogs get their walks every single day — come rain, shine, sideways wind, or that classic British “is it raining or am I imagining it?” drizzle. 🌧️🌤️😂

In the summer, we’re even in bright and early to get everyone out in the cool morning air ☀️😎 — because nothing says “good morning” like a joyful dog trotting along beside you!

Walking your dog isn’t just great for their body AND brain 🧠💪 — it’s also a massive serotonin boost for them and for you. Think of it as shared therapy, but with more sniffing and the occasional wildlife distraction 🐿️👀

So grab the lead, lace up your shoes, and celebrate today with a good stomp, a waggy tail, and maybe a treat or two (for your dog… or for you, we don’t judge) 😄🍪🐶

🐾 Puppy Food Donations Needed 🐾

We’ve had some very exciting news here at the centre — one of our dogs has given birth! ❤️🐶 While we know many of you will be eager to see the puppies, we are keeping things calm and quiet for now. Being in rescue can be stressful for new mums, and we want to give her and her babies the most peaceful environment possible to rest, grow, and recover. 🌿💕

That said, we are very much in need of puppy food — both for mum, who needs the extra nutrients, and for the little ones when they begin weaning.

Found this gem from around 1990 in my grandmother’s photo collection. Me with Patch, her long-haired Jack Russell 🐾🖤 the cheeky chappy used to pull on the leg of my babygrow when I was very little, my poor mum ended up having one leg longer than the other on so many of my clothes!
