A POLITE REMINDER ABOUT DONATIONS
Unfortunately, this is what we found outside the shop this morning.
Items had been left outside after hours, bottom of the boxes are full of mice droppings, a single drawer and paint remover with broken items that we have to pay to get rid of because we can't sell, which is blocking one of our entrances.
Our shop has two sliding doors which we open each morning, and because of items being left directly in front of them, we are unable to open and use both doors until everything has been removed.
We really appreciate everyone who thinks of us when they have items to donate, but unfortunately leaving unwanted items outside the shop when we are closed is not an acceptable way to donate. Items that we cannot sell or use then become the responsibility of the charity to dispose of, creating additional costs and work for our team.
Leaving unwanted items outside after hours can also be considered fly-tipping.
If you would like to donate, please bring your items into the shop during our opening hours, 9.15 - 4.45.
Thank you for understanding and for continuing to support our charity and the animals we care for. 💚
