This morning, kind members of the public brought a black female cat to our practice after she had been involved in a road traffic collision on Loanhead Road, Newarthill. Sadly, she had passed away before arriving with us.

We are incredibly grateful to the compassionate individuals who took the time to bring her in—your kindness ensured she was treated with dignity and care.

Thanks to the fact that she was microchipped, we were able to quickly identify her and reunite her with her owners. While this is a heartbreaking situation, it also highlights just how important microchipping is. It allows us to provide answers and closure to families during very difficult times.

Our thoughts are with her owners today 🖤

Please take a moment to ensure your pet’s microchip details are up to date—it truly makes all the difference.
