If you’re a rabbit owner, have you heard about Rabbit Viral Haemorrhagic Disease 2 (RVHD2)?

This is a highly contagious disease that can unfortunately be fatal. The disease spreads quickly from a contaminated rabbit and rabbits often show little to no symptoms in time to do anything.

🐇 The best way to protect against RVHD2 is through a vaccination injection

🐇 Reduce your rabbit’s chances of encountering a wild rabbit with secure fencing and runs.

🐇 Keep runs and hutches in tip-top, hygienic condition.

🐇 Understand the symptoms which include lethargy, reduced appetite and spontaneous bleeding.

Protect your rabbits with a vaccination, good husbandry and speak to one of our team as soon as possible if you’re worried.

Prevention of the disease is the best way to avoid it!
