Feeding dogs! My dogs are only fed 80/10/10 the reason for this 80% meat, 10% offal, 10% bone! This is natural calcium and incude bone marrow this is what a "wolf" would eat in the wild if it was lucky enough and scavenge what ever else it could.
Dogs are not designed to eat grains or high startch ie potato or rice carbohydrates They will eat it out of desperation! Will make them fat and life span will be reduced!
If your unconvinced by this just Google it, better still buy@_jackiefullertons book and genuinely you will see a massive difference! Recently lost my Baxter unexpectedly at 15, still have my "gang" ageing 11, 14 &16! Believe it or not my Rottweiler lived to 13! Google average life of Rottweiler! A percentage is luck but my opinion feeding them best quality is the most important!
If you want to feed them the £1 range of foods its going to be 50% or more bone plus the cheapest rubbish! Would you eat that! Do you expect your dog to eat that?

My awesome little friend Baxter passed away today 12.5 years with me 2.5 previous years not so good! Will be missed as we all do dread that day, my handsome little fella went over the rainbow 🌈 bridge.

This beautiful old lady is Poppy around 12 years old can't be 100%. She came up as an urgent foster and was relatively within 2 hours near to me. What can I say about this awesome little devil? She walked into my home and heart as if she had always been here☺️ don't be fooled she can be a tenacious little devil apparently a former breeding dog and then adopted by a lovely lady (see pics) was spoilt and everything in the world was 100% good for her. Tragically this lady had a massive stroke leading to dementia!! She could no longer take care of Poppy and had to let her go😞 I saw Poppy on Pug Life Rescue not knowing the full circumstances and thought at 10 stands lower chance of finding a home! WHY! I Appreciate the time you have with them is less and the heartbreak is sooner but surely the fact you are willing to give these animals a good life is more important?? So Poppy is the most gentle but VERY! assertive dog she sure, as he'll puts the others in their place but never bites☺️ a snap from Poppy means leave me alone! I

This is Axel. He is my most recent adopted rescue came to me for 6 days as a short term foster and nearly 2 years later still here and not going anywhere else! He is a chug, suffers with nervous aggression that is improving he is gaining confidence and has stability here with us. Some dogs can be challenging some settle quickly however I would urge anyone considering getting a dog to consider a rescue dog first so many requiring a home and deserve a second chance. So many breeds available easy to find on Facebook many breed specific pages😊 My "crew" all thanks to Pug Life Rescue
