Hi, I'm a fully qualified Dog Groomer near Newark & Ollerton. I have a lot of experience with all types of dogs, especial rescue & nervous dogs.

I have always wanted to work with animals, but music was my speciality and so I became a private woodwind teacher. I have kept animals, especially horses, all my life..and I can't imagine a life without them. So in a way..its a dream realised for me to work with dogs. My ethos for dog grooming is to be kind and patient. Grooming and bathing can be stressful for dogs - they're in a new environment

..away from their owners and everything they know. If it takes 5 visits for a dog to become comfortable enough to have their nails clipped or bottom clipped..then so be it. The dog's well-being always comes first.

Polite notice.
Please respect my time… even though I groom from home, and try to be as accommodating to everyone’s special requirements as I can- I am still trying to run a business, and my time is limited and precious. Clients are cancelling last minute- or not letting me know that they’re not coming at all, turning up late- and paying me less. Letting their dogs get matted and not pay the extra charge, or take an extra 30mins to pick up their dog(s).
I’m then put in a difficult position as when I try to ask for the appropriate fee (as would any hairdresser/dentist etc) I often end up losing the client altogether.
I love what I do- but there are times when I find being self employed too difficult.

Hello! For all of you who enjoy using the Airfield by us to walk your dogs, I have set up a page to encourage people to talk about how and why its important to them. We had to say a very sad farewell to Kasper over the Christmas. He was a happy, sweet boy and his owners are just fantastic. I’d groomed him for 10 years and he’ll be very greatly missed 💕
