We have had a very exciting arrival at the farm! Did somebody say Meerkat babies?😱🥰

These cuties are over a week old now, and the WPF team are thrilled to welcome them! They are currently getting used to life at the farm, off display and are doing brilliantly!🤩

Join us for our SEN friendly session at Light Post Farm on 27th November!🎄

A quieter, more relaxed Light Post Farm experience! 🤩

You can expect quieter spaces along the trail where families can pause and rejoin when ready, clear maps and signage showing what’s ahead, lower background music around the whole site and, dimmed and softer lighting in the jungle barn and other indoor areas. 🌟

It’s important to us as an organisation that our events are accessible. If you require any additional support, please let a member of staff know on arrival and we’ll do our best to assist. 🙂

We had the wonderful opportunity of hosting the wedding of Libby & Matt a couple of weeks ago!🥰

A week ago today we attended the Southwell Ploughing Match!🚜

We have been told that our scarecrow very much enjoyed by the Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire, Professor Veronica Pickering! She was very interested in the themes around conservation and community awareness.🐝🥰

The Lord Lieutenant is the King's representative for Nottinghamshire, so this was a very prestigious visit for the ploughing match!

We are thrilled that she loved our Scarecrow!🐝

Unfortunately we have just been informed that, due to gas works in the area, the usual road to the farm from the roundabout will be closed over the weekend!🚧

The diversion routes to access the farms entrance are:

🚨Follow the A614 from Nottingham, up to Longland lane, access Farnsfield Village and follow it to the farm.

🚨From Lockwell hill roundabout, head down Cocketts Lane and access Farnsfield Village to the farm!

We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause on your journey… please allow extra travel time for any bookings.

We will inform you when the road is back open as usual.
