A couple of days ago I posted this asking if you could tell me what this body language is showing.

There was some brilliant answers given. Some correct but most of you wasn't far off the mark.

The correct answer is that both dogs are displaying the same and that is a anxious behaviour. We most commonly see this when our dogs are unsure of a situation such as when we are asking them to do something or if they have spotted or sense something in the distance that just doesn't make sense to them.

There are some other less common/obvious behaviours our dogs do that also show signs of anxiety such as
🟠 Air sniff (when there is nothing obvious to be sniffing)
🟠 Digging
🟠 Sweaty Paws

So next time your dogs shows you this body language when you are asking them to do something, ask yourself "how can I ask this question differently in a language they will understand?" 🤔
