If only I had a pound for every time I’ve tried to explain this in all the years of working with dogs.

Sadly, arrogance from owners who know but who are unwilling to listen causes so much stress.

Sometimes, new owners who’ve never owned a dog before genuinely get caught out and these are the people I give a lot of grace to.

Others know but don’t care & are arrogant as …

This delightful little fellow joined us today for his home from home holiday boarding stay.
He’s been awesome so far but that’s no surprise, as the work we put into the ‘getting to know you sessions’ really pay off and he’s already met his fellow boarders @ daycare sessions or an hour’s trip to the off lead paddock for socialisation
This evening we are enjoying the late afternoon sunshine and he’s super chilled already

A REVIEW FROM A CLIENT… I have cut and pasted but included a snapshot with the clients name as Google link doesn’t always open!

Whilst moving house Jenny looked after my 7 year old puggle - Trixie. Jenny had met Trixie previously but nonetheless took her out prior to the stay to get reacquainted. Jenny was careful how Trixie met other dogs, helped me to make sure Trixie was prepared and was thorough in making sure all relevant info was with her. During the stay Jenny kept in touch sending photos of Trixie's "holiday". Trixie had a great time lots of exercise and play and obviously loved being in a house where she could sleep on a sofa with her friends. Would recommend Jenny to anyone because she loves and looks after the dogs so well. Thank you Jenny from Trixie and from me.

Our new recruit 8mo Freddie on his third daycare preparing him for his home boarding stay with us.
