Blue-green algae can be toxic to dogs. ☢️

It may appear as scum or green paint on the surface of ponds or lakes, but even a small amount can cause dogs to become seriously ill. Keep them out of water that looks suspicious, and always check for warning signs when out on walks.

Say a big Hello to Jasper, a beautiful fox red Labrador Retriever. Jasper is guaranteed to steal hearts as we see him grow into a handsome boy. 💙

Jess was very pleased that she had this cuddle at his most recent visit for his puppy vaccinations.

Most dogs can whelp on their own, but sometimes, like humans, some dogs may have complications that can be dangerous to the mother or her puppies.

This is Isla, she delivered 5 puppies on her own but unfortunately Isla began to experience complications during her labour. Isla’s worried owner called the surgery suspecting there were more puppies present. After an ultrasound it was revealed that a puppy was stuck in the birthing canal, sadly, without a visible heart beat and there was at least one other puppy in the uterus.
After a call to the owners, Vet Dagmara immediately stepped in to perform an emergency caesarean on Isla, with all hands on deck another 4 healthy puppies were successfully delivered. ❤❤❤

Here is the rather cute bundle of playful puppies visiting the surgery for their 1st vaccinations and Mum Isla feeding them. Isla’s Mum Indie, also played an important role after the birth, giving Isla a helping paw! 🐾❤

🚨 Pannage Season – Keep Dogs Close Around Pigs 🚨

A bumper acorn crop is expected across the New Forest this year – which means the pigs are out for longer during pannage season which starts this year on 15th September

Please keep your dog under close control at all times.
Pigs can be protective, especially around food, and an encounter with an off-lead dog can cause injury to both animals.

Let’s respect the animals, give them space, and keep walks safe for everyone. 💚
