Dave and Cookie have become the best of pals here at Nith Valley Groom and Stay! 🐾

Whether they’re zooming around the garden or having a toy tug-of-war, they’re keeping each other thoroughly entertained.

Dave heads home at the end of the week and we’ll definitely miss his cheeky face… although I think all the socks in the house will be breathing a sigh of relief! 🧦😂 Dave has kept me busy lifting socks from here, there and everywhere after he’s proudly thrown them around!

Thankfully, Cookie is sticking around until 20th July to keep the fun going… and probably to make sure all the toys stay in use! ❤️🐶

We will have a new gal arriving on Friday to keep cookie entertained 🐾

One of the biggest myths in dog ownership! 😅
Many short-coated dogs have thick undercoats that become compacted if they’re not regularly deshed. This can:
🐾 Trap heat�🐾 Cause itchy, irritated skin�🐾 Lead to hot spots�🐾 Increase shedding around your home

Labradors, Pugs, French Bulldogs, German Shepherds, Huskies and many other short-coated breeds all benefit from regular deshedding.

And remember… shaving isn’t the answer! Their coat helps regulate their body temperature, so removing it can do more harm than good.

If your dog leaves enough hair behind to make a second dog… it might be time for a deshed! 😂

🐾 A big Nith Valley Groom & Stay welcome to Buddy & Dave! 🐾

Our first two boarding guests from Auchinleck have officially arrived! 🏡💛

Although they’re from separate households, they’re both settling in brilliantly and are ready for plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles, and a home-from-home stay.

They’re also the first two dogs in what is looking like a very busy boarding season, with bookings keeping us busy right through until the end of October! Thank you so much to everyone who has chosen to trust us with your four-legged family members – your support means the world. 🐶❤️

Have the best holiday, Buddy & Dave’s families – we’ll keep you updated with lots of photos and videos while they’re here! 📸🐾

📢 Boarding Payment Reminder 📢

A friendly reminder to all customers with upcoming boarding bookings that any outstanding deposits or scheduled payment plan instalments are now due.
If you are waiting until a specific date to make payment, please send me a message and let me know. I’m always happy to work with you when communication is kept open.

Unfortunately, if deposits due today are not received and I have not heard from you, your boarding dates will be cancelled and offered to customers on the waiting list.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Your prompt payments help me manage bookings fairly and ensure spaces are reserved for those who need them.
