🐾 Meet Patrick - looking for a special home 🐾

This is Patrick, an 18-year-old Plummer Terrier who is currently staying with us at the kennels.

Sadly, Patrick’s owner passed away just before Christmas, and he’s now looking for a new home to see out his golden years. Despite his age, Patrick is still very much his own little character and knows what he likes!

He would be best suited to a quiet home, with no young children. He would ideally be the only pet or possibly live with another very calm dog, depending on introductions.

He’s an older gentleman who enjoys a comfy bed and some gentle pottering about. He has lots of personality and would make a wonderful companion for the right person.

We know rehoming an older dog isn’t for everyone, but if you or someone you know could offer Patrick a peaceful place to call home, please get in touch with us for a chat. Even sharing this post could help him find the right person. 🐾

🚦🙌 After months of closure and roadworks, our road and the full junction on Chester High Road is open 🙌🚦

🐾 🐾 Everyone had a late bedtime tonight and they are all settled and happy 💤 🐾

☀️ We will be adjusting our walks, having later bedtimes and even more regular water top ups whilst the weather is hot along with and hosing down of dogs and probably staff 🥵!!

Please be reassured that we are here doing the worrying about your pets and checking they are all okay throughout the day & night.

It's starting! Here is what we know...

Summary to get to us... - full access from Raby / Willaston / Clatterbridge side. 'One Way In' from Neston / Chester High Road.

- Today (27th) & Tomorrow: Upper Raby Road Closure between 9am & 3pm Only (unsure about other roads)

- From Sunday 30th March: Traffic management begins...
1. Temporary Lights on main A540 (Chester High Road)
2. 'One-Way In' on Upper Raby Road (Our's!)
3. 'One-Way In' on Raby Park Road (To School etc)

This will then be for the duration of the works (23 weeks?) with some occasional full closures to our road - but we should be notified of this in advance and we will update here.

⛔️🚧 Road Closure from 3rd March 🚧⛔️

This closure will be the same as we had in the Autumn with access only from Raby/Willaston/Clatterbridge end of our road. We will monitor the closure signage as it happens but please just let us know if you have any questions.
