When I first became a dog walker, I genuinely thought Iād be spending my daysā¦ wellā¦ walking dogs.
Turns out thereās a lot more to it than that.
Reading body language. Managing different personalities. Planning routes. Answering messages. Sending invoices. Driving from A to B. Trying to get the perfect photo while five dogs are all looking in different directions!
And somehow, thatās become normal.
One thing I never expected though was the people. Looking after someoneās dog is a huge responsibility, and over the years so many clients have become friends.
Itās a pretty special job really. ā¤ļø
