German shepherds are a breed apart. Usually, they are far too bright to be happy with a pamper. For most GSDs, a groom is something to be endured and accepted but rarely enjoyed. That said, we think Jim looks pretty relaxed in our bath. And the best thing about them, they look amazing afterwards. Just look at Rocco (those paws!). Jim and Rocco's owners were concerned that they might not cope with a groom - but both dogs were perfect gentlemen and are welcome in our van any time!

Edsandtails Dogwash reopens for grooming today. We are still trying to get our heads around the loss of Ed's mum. We are both overwhelmed by all the kind and supportive messages we have had from clients and friends - it really does help and we thank you for reaching out.
Our little business has been closed for a large chunk of May and that means we have more than 20 cancelled dogs to accommodate. So inevitably we will need to reschedule some grooms. I will contact clients directly and get any cancellations rebooked as soon as I can.
For now, here's a photo of Roka, Mum's dog, who will be missing her every bit as much - if not more - than her humans.

Today we say goodbye to Ed's mum, my kayinanne. She left us yesterday and will be laid to rest this afternoon. She finally succumbed to the cancer she has been fighting for more than 2 years. She has fought like a warrior, but then she has been a warrior all her life. She was both mother and father to Ed and has left a huge hole in his life. Indeed, in all our lives. She was fearless and feisty, stubborn and strong, but also incredibly caring and kind. We will miss her more than she could ever imagine. This is how we will remember her...

... IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ...
Eds & Tails Dog Wash is currently closed due to family illness. Ed is in Turkey with his mum Gonul who has had a relapse. She is now on palliative care. We are scheduled to reopen on Wed May 28th BUT this will depend on her prognosis. I will contact that week's clients the weekend before to advise. If you need to contact us please do so via Messenger, What's App or email ([email protected]). Texting and calling to and from Turkey is costly and unreliable. Please keep fingers and paws crossed for us and especially for Gonul xx
