It might be 🌞 and you'd like to get out in the sun with your best 4 legged friend.
Have a little thought of your beloved pet who will struggle through the heat..... they can't tell you ....
Signs......
Excessive panting: While panting is a normal way for dogs to cool down, it can become excessive or frantic when they're overheating.
Bright red gums or tongue: Healthy gums should be a pink color. Bright red or pale gums can indicate that the dog's body temperature is elevated.
Drooling: Excessive drooling or salivation is another sign that a dog may be overheating.
Lethargy: If a dog seems unusually tired, weak, or uninterested in activities they usually enjoy, it could be a sign they're overheating.
Restlessness: A dog may become agitated or restless, pacing or seeking shade or water, indicating they are uncomfortable.
Rapid heart rate: A dog's heart rate may increase as they try to cool down.
Difficulty breathing: Labored or noisy breathing can indicate a serious problem with overheating.
Vomiting or diarrhea: Heat can upset a dog's stomach, leading to vomiting or diarrhea.
Seizures or collapse: In extreme cases, dogs may experience seizures or collapse.
Elevated temperature: A dog's body temperature can rise above 104°F (40°C) during heatstroke.
Please be careful out in this heat. If its hot for you. Then think how hot it will be for the dogs. 🐾 ❤️
