Can’t believe we still have these two tanks still available!!

The Black Juwel is a Trigon 190 and the Dark Wood Juwel is a Vision 180

Both are in fantastic condition overall, and come with tonnes of accessories each too and as full working and complete setups.. the Trigon even has the Juwel Helialux LED system!!

A few minor scratches to both but aren’t noticeable when filled up.

Collection from the shop or LOCAL delivery can be arranged at a cost.

Good morning folks, its a beautiful sunny Saturday here at LVA and im here through to 5pm 🕔

Some nice underwater footage of one of our ponds of stunning Japanese Koi 🇯🇵

Some real crackers in this pond and feeding extremely well as you can imagine! If theres a fish you’re interested in, we are always happy to bowl them up for closer inspection, just ask when you’re instore 🙂

Good evening folks, the end of another frantic and very hot week, and the weekends arrived at long last 😅

We’ve got a nicely stocked shop with all the essentials and some little treats ready for you all too, so whether its your pond or tank wanting a refurb or some new additions look no further than our doors 👀

We are open all weekend, Saturday 10am - 5pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm for all your aquatic needs, and as ever myself and Ben will look forward to seeing as many of you as possible ✌🏼

Good morning folks, back open again today through to 5pm 🕔

Red Bellied Piranha, Pygocentrus Nattereri.. arguably one of the most famous species of fish on this planet.. thanks to a certain (slightly inaccurate) film currently in store!

So yes they are a meat eating species and will not mix with your traditional species, no they wont bite your hand off if you stick it in the tank (though it is fun to tell people who annoy you they will 😅), they are in actual fact quite a timid species that will only go into full attack mode when a prey item is weak like the frozen lance fish seen in the video!

Its a great sight to watch these mini beasts feed don’t get me wrong, but dont be foolish by introducing the wrong types of food to their diet. Mammal and Avian meat is not necessary, feeding frozen foods and pellets are more than ample to keep these guys well and truly happy!

Good morning folks, back open today and im here on me tod through to 5pm 🕔

Another little update from the home breeding projects at the mrs’ gaff, this time its that of the Pygmy Cories and man this is a fun one 🥺

After quite possibly nearly a thousand eggs being laid by the adults, through trials and tribulations, we’re finally raising little baby Pygmy Cories, certainly a fun little project!!

I will say i can’t take all the credit, as the Mrs’ and mother in law have been doing most the work, but in a few months time there should be some home grown Pygmys available in store!

Couple pictures attached are of one of the babies and the scale of just how tiny these babies really are, nature is amazing isnt it? 🙏🏼
