So what did we all think of the England game last night? After a great performance in the first game, was hoping for another good game and instead we got bored to almost death 🤦🏻‍♂️

Anyways… back to the good stuff… plenty of home bred Bristlenose Plecs currently available, peoples aquariums may begin to have an algae problem in this heatwave, if so, these could just be the answer to solve your problems! 🧽🧹

Good evening, the weekend has arrived and we’re in for a scorcher again… but why not come down and brighten up your aquariums and ponds this weekend? 🤔

Lots of stock across the whole shop, with plenty of fish, both tropical and pond to suit everyones needs, along with all the necessary accessories to keep your hobby ticking over nicely 👌🏼

We’re open all weekend, Saturday 10am - 5pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm for all you guys, and as ever we loom forward to welcoming as many of you as possible 😘

We’ve got a wonderful selection of species in our fish house, covering all levels of fishkeeper. If you’re looking for a group of something to liven up your community tank or even a nice display species, then im sure we got you covered 😉

The pond section and main shop are also nicely stocked with all the essentials you’ll need for your hobby making us the place to visit this weekend ✌🏼

Back open this morning through to 5pm today 🕔

We have some of our lovely locally bred shrimp back in stock in two colour forms, Cherry and Orange 🍒 🍊

If you’re looking to start a little breeding project or even add a little splash of colour to your nano aquarium then these are a great option for both, plus they are also fairly efficient cleaners too so another big tick added for them ✅

We got good numbers currently but these dont tend to hang around for long when we have them 🔥

Good morning folks, back open after a well needed day off yesterday and both myself and Ben are back here today until 5pm 🕔

Over the weekend we got another first come through the LVA fish house in the form of these, Snow White Albino Bristlenose 😍

These have been locally bred and we have very limited numbers available, just the 9! The snow whites are a relatively new colour form, that usually have blue and black eyes but these have true albino eyes with no pattern at all on the body, proper cool to see and hopefully we get to see some of these grow up in future!

Plenty of new fish through our doors this week, including lots of Cories, some stunning Female Betta, along with some of our regular oddballs such as Reedfish and Sterlets if you have a pond 👌🏼

Feeding vegetables to your fish… a very important role in the dietary requirements of many species 👌🏼

Here you can see some Bristlenose and Shrimp enjoying some courgette, but theres plenty of other species that will enjoy fresh fruit and veg, L Number Pleco, Loaches, Livebearers, Malawis, and Goldfish to name but a few 👀

Some real favourites ive found over the years are Courgette, Potato, Sweet Potato, Banana, Watermelon, Pumpkin, Mushroom, Broccoli and even good old Stinging Nettles! 😱

We also sell a great range of high quality foods for your fish too but introducing some fresh is never a bad thing, as i always like to say, Variety is key to an animals well being!

Good morning folks, back to the grind for this coming week, we got plenty of fish arriving this week and lots of stock too so keep your eyes peeled for our stories 👀

For now, have a video of mine and Carla’s little shrimp project, im not sick of it, so you shouldnt be either 🥺😂

Wont be long before the first batch of Shrimp will be hitting the shop 🔥

Can’t believe we still have these two tanks still available!!

The Black Juwel is a Trigon 190 and the Dark Wood Juwel is a Vision 180

Both are in fantastic condition overall, and come with tonnes of accessories each too and as full working and complete setups.. the Trigon even has the Juwel Helialux LED system!!

A few minor scratches to both but aren’t noticeable when filled up.

Collection from the shop or LOCAL delivery can be arranged at a cost.
