ELS APPRECIATION POST💕🐾
Els has been with us about 18 months now and I’m not going to lie, it’s been hard sometimes. She was borderline feral on lead, so giddy, very vocal at everything, pretty much ruined our holiday to Wales and there were fights amongst my pack… I was very close to giving in and rehoming her but I kept reminding myself that it wasn’t her fault. It was her previous owner’s fault for keeping her world so small.
I looked over at her today with my work pack and she made me smile- she’s like a different dog now. She loves playing with the others but also keeping herself to herself. She just loves being out in the fresh air and LOVES a snuggle(because we let her inside)…
This is just a reminder that if you’re finding it hard with a new rescue or a not so new rescue, keep at it, you’re both doing great & it does get easier! Els is like my shadow now(along with Stelly).. I can’t remember life before her & can’t think about it without her now❤️
