I'm a life-long sufferer of migraines and sometimes the symptoms start showing up days before the attack, which is the actual headache part. For a few days I've had dizzy spells, numbness in limbs, weird vision things, my hands don't work, feeling heavy, confusion, and a constant mild pressure in the head. Some symptoms come and go, some stay, new ones come.... Oh the joys of migraines. It's not just a headache. COMMENT "YES" below if you are a migraine sufferer, or should I say warrior?

How do you transport your cat to and from the groomers or vet?

Most go in a crate but is the crate the right size? What condition is it in? Is there sufficient cushioning so your cat is comfortable? Have you sprayed a natural pheromone calming spray on the blanket? Is the crate secure in the car or is it sliding around?

Cats get stressed very easily so may find that by making a few small changes your cat will start to feel more comfortable and less stressed. 😀

What are the signs of stress in cats?

In the salon I aim to reduce as many stressors as possible by keeping music switched off, locking the door so no-one can walk in while the cat is not in its carrier, the salon is cleaned before cats come in, I keep grooming slots as short as possible, use pheromone calming sprays, use scent-free shampoos that are ph balanced for cats, and so much more.

What's more important, a perfectly finished first groom or a happy dog?

I'm all for a happy dog, and Bunny is an example of that. She came in today, 10 months old, for her first visit and first hand strip. The goal was to see how she got on with bathing and drying and only proceed with stripping if she was confident with that. And she was! What a little star! Very well done, Bunny! 😍🐶🛁✂️
