On our little walk today down to the Pet Cemetery we’ve seen the first signs of daffodils and snowdrops.
We found a big leaf and got creative doing crayon rubbings.
I feel the Pet Cemetery is turning into a big fairy garden as Kelyn has now placed her dinosaur to protect the fairies and hung fairies from the trees, in what she calls her secret garden.
We now have our rose wooden arch built ready to lift up in place of the metal one that fell down in the storm.
The next plan is a circular bench around the fir tree…

We decided to get out and enjoy the first signs of Spring. I know it’s not spring yet but there’s a feeling in the air the daffodils are out and my daughter loves being outside. The pet cemetery is a bit of a mess after all the wind, rain and snow we’ve had but slowly, slowly we will do a little at a time. Today we scattered some wild flowers and started redoing the base for the fairy garden...

Just had our daily walk through the pet cemetery, the roses are coming on well. Just need some time to w**d, scatter wild flower seeds, lift tree skirts add seating and clear grave stones. Need some free help I think. Started a fairy garden which anyone is welcome to add to and improve. The Pet Cemetery doesn’t make any profit due to its closure years ago and then as we’ve re-opened it and made it accessible again a lot of the grave owners don’t know about it and there were sadly no records. Hopefully we can one day make a grid and contact owners so they know it’s somewhere they can come and sit in tranquility with their past pets. Donations are always welcome to help improve the Cemetery and keep it in its natural beautiful state.

Done a new sign for the pet cemetery just need to clean the dog up now. Also moved a big root down to the pet cemetery and wanting to create a barked area around the seat alongside a fairy garden. Anyone can add to it and put their memories there.
