Just a quick reminder to check your pet's microchip details are up-to-date.

It can be so easy to forget to update them, when your details change but it's essential for reuniting you with your pet, if they were to go missing!

I never put a new dog straight into a group, here's why.....

I always discuss at a meet and greet, how your dog gets on with others but that's not to mean that your dog will react the same when on a walk with me.

When taking on a new dog, their first walk with me is always solo. During this walk, I assess their suitablility for a solo or group walk. I do this by observing how they behave with me, how they respond around other dogs and in new environments.

From there, I decide what's genuinely best for your dog. It may be that we only do solo walks, or we do a few solo walks, then gradually introduce new dogs. I tailor walks to your dog and how they will get the most enjoyment out of their walks.

This is why I offer both group and solo walks, because it's never a one size fits all approach. I'll always match your dog to whichever one actually suits them.

If you're local to Nailsea, Backwell and Flax Bourton and want this kind of approach from a dog walker, send me a message.

Of course this happened on the ONE day I forgot my dog shower 🙃
We were having a lovely walk in the woods, nowhere near water as far as I could tell. I turned my back for two seconds to help one of the dogs and the other three somehow found the boggiest puddle to jump in! They were all very pleased with themselves when they made their way out of it
Cue me using any spare water I could find in the car to clean some of the mud off, all while questioning my decision to become a dog walker 😅

You are all so patient with me when it comes to replying to calls and messages but just a reminder, that I may not be able to reply to your messages or answer calls straight away! When I'm looking after your pets they're my main focus!

I also tend to sit down each evening and reply to messages that aren't urgent, so that any bookings can be put straight into my diary, that way I dont forget to write them in.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!

This is what I've been checking each dog over for at the end of my walks...and so should you too!

Grass seeds and ticks can cause lots of issues over the summer months and a quick check over can prevent this.

Save this reel as a reminder to check your dog after every walk, maybe even share it with another dog owner that may find it helpful!

Choosing a pet sitter isn't just about who's available, it's about who you can trust.
Here's why choosing a professional pet sitter, like me, makes all the difference....

This week was a difficult one for lots of pet care businesses. We had to find ways to adapt to the hot weather.

Lots of walks were cancelled or swapped to early mornings, when it was cooler. We also had to take extra care and keep a close eye on the animals under our care (including cats, small animals and horses).

Although the hot weather meant I lost a significant amount of business this week, the welfare of the animals in my care will always be the top priority.

Swipe to see some of the changes I made, due to the hot temperatures this week.
