ur particular water. Aeration & Ice Prevention
The primary function of an aeration system is to sustain aquatic life and improve the overall water quality. A secondary benefit of an aeration system, due to the air introduced into the water and the actual water movement, is ice prevention. In certain waters the ice prevention properties of a system become the primary function, such as in zoo animal enclosures protected by moats. The additional aeration and improved water quality from the aeration system now becoming welcome secondary benefits. Aeration Applications
• Zoos We have many aeration systems installed in UK Zoos to help prevent ice formation and improve overall water quality
• Agriculture Our equipment is used on numerous vegetable and soft fruit growers settlement lagoons. This is to improve water quality prior to re-cycling or discharge
• Waste Water A combination of our aeration techniques are used in waste water lagoons to mix and also strip harmful gases from the water prior to discharge
• Fisheries & Aquaculture With our ability to supply a wide range of high quality aeration equipment, we will have a solution to your aeration requirements. It could be in a single research tank or the largest commercial mixed fishery
• Park Lakes & Golf Courses We can offer a range of options, including decorative fountain aerators. We can also design a system to help keep the margins of a lake free from ice and help discourage anyone accessing the frozen lake
