🐾❤️ A LITTLE ABOUT MY LIFE AS A RAGDOLL BREEDER ❤️🐾
Sometimes I think people only see the beautiful side of being a breeder.
They see the fluffy kittens, the cuddles, the cute photos and all the happiness. And yes… I really do love all of that. ❤️
But there is so much more behind it.
Being a breeder means sleepless nights, worrying about every little thing, constantly watching the kittens, cleaning, feeding, vet appointments, vaccinations, worming and sometimes simply sitting with them for hours, making sure everything is okay.
It can be exhausting.
It can be stressful.
And sometimes it can be heartbreaking.
But then you look at those little faces and somehow everything feels worth it. 🥹❤️
For me, my kittens are never just kittens that need a new home.
I get attached to every single one of them.
I know their personalities. I know which one is the cheekiest, which one loves cuddles, which one always wants to be next to me and which one is the first to run when I call them. 😂
I watch them grow from tiny little babies into beautiful, confident cats.
And then comes the hardest part…
Finding them their new family.
I know some people might not understand why I ask so many questions, why I want to talk to families, why I want to meet them and why sometimes I say no.
But I need to know that when my kitten leaves my home, they are going somewhere they will be loved and cared for for the rest of their life.
For me, the deposit is not what matters most.
Money can never tell me what kind of life my kitten will have.
I want to know that they will sleep in a warm bed, have someone who loves them, someone who will worry about them when they are sick and someone who will never give up on them.
Because when I hand over one of my kittens, I am not just handing over a cat.
I am handing over a little piece of my heart. ❤️
And yes… every collection day is emotional for me.
I smile, I talk, I make sure everything is ready and I tell myself that my kitten is going to a wonderful home.
But when the door closes and they leave…
the house feels different.
A little quieter.
And I miss them.
Then, a few days later, I get a photo or a message:
“He is sleeping with us.” ❤️
“She is already purring.” ❤️
“We absolutely adore her.” ❤️
And honestly… that means everything to me.
That is why I do this.
Not because it is easy.
Not because it is always enjoyable.
And definitely not just for the money.
I do it because I love Ragdolls. I love watching them grow, getting to know their personalities and knowing that I have given them the best possible start in life.
And when they leave for their new homes, they always take a little piece of me with them. ❤️
I may have many kittens over the years, but I will remember every single one of them.
Because once you love them from the very beginning…
you never really stop. 🐾❤️
This is my life as a breeder.
Full of mess, tiredness, emotions and sometimes stress…
but most of all, full of so much love.
And honestly?
I wouldn’t change it for anything. ❤️🐱
