With the new kitten season about to start, I feel that it is very appropriate to post again.
Currently there are a lot of very overpriced non registered kittens available on various sites. People, in their excitement to get a kitten, are getting conned. You should never pay ยฃ1000 for a kitten from an unregistered breeder. Gumtree have a price cap of ยฃ600 for kittens from unregistered breeders, NEVER pay more than that. EVER!!!
I have a list of vital questions you need to ask BEFORE you pay any money.
Sorry for the length of this post, but it needed to be said, yet again.
THINGS TO ASK YOUR 'BREEDER'
1. Are you registered ?
2. Who are you registered with and does price include pedigree papers ?
3. Can I see current proof of registration ?
4. What age do you let your kittens leave ?
5. What vet work do you have done ?
6. Do you give me any information on things to do with my new kitten such as food, worming, etc ?
7. Do you offer ongoing support for the life of my kitten ?
8. Do you DNA screen your breeding cats for HCM and PKD ?
9. Can you provide proof that these tests have been done?
10. Can I see pictures of mum and dad and how they live?

Sometimes we get irritated by the little things - hair on our clothes, lint on the carpet, scratching at the door in the morning. We get angry that we have to vacuum, clean and wash again. But these little "inconveniences" are actually traces of the love our pets bring into our lives.

One day these traces will disappear. One day you won't hear the clatter of their paws on the floor or feel the warmth of their bodies pressed against yours. There will be silence and longing for the times when the little things that annoy you now were everyday occurrences.

Animals are only with us for a moment, but their love stays with us forever. That's why it's worth looking at that ball of hair in the corner differently - as a small proof of their presence. As a reminder that they are here, they love us unconditionally and teach us how to enjoy the little things. One day, these little things will be the most beautiful memories.

We brought home our wee girl a week ago and we couldnโ€™t be more delighted. Sheโ€™s beautiful, confident and full of personality. She was clearly well trained and socialised. She settled into our home immediately and is so comfortable around meeting new people. We are so grateful to Cathouse Ragdoll Cattery for providing us with such a perfect kitten!

It is so important to take the time to find a knowledgeable, experienced and professional breeder - just like Cathouse Ragdolls. They are clearly very well recommended, And have the most beautiful kittens.
Even though I have not bought a kitten from CatHouse Ragdolls they have kindly taken the time to give me very useful advice about my Ragdoll.

We brought our wee kitten Penny home a few weeks ago and she has been amazing! She has been so well socialised and is so friendly with new people. She plays gently with humans and she knew how to use her litter tray immediately. I was so impressed with how quickly she settled in. We could not be more delighted with Penny being part of our family and would recommend Cathouse Ragdoll Cattery to anyone who is looking to get a ragdoll from a reliable, caring breeder.

CatHouse is a home ragdoll breeding cattery. For our name we work honestly and with enthusiasm.

We are proud to present our cattery, in which cats are part of the family, who are subordinated to our lifestyle and thanks to which we receive something priceless - their unconditional love. We provide our ragdolls with as much warmth and attention as possible. They accompany us in ordinary everyday life - cleaning, cooking, watching TV. Our ragdolls do not live in overcrowded, even though there is more of them here than in the average home of cat lovers. Recommendations from our clients are our small successes, a reward for hard work, determination and dedication that motivate us to act. We are constantly expanding our knowledge about cats, their behavior, socialization, their health and development. Ragdolls are our passion and we are happy that we can share it with others. Our kittens currently live all over UK including areas as far as London, Northern Ireland and the Shetland Islands. Kittens are not only happiness but also hard work. With every born litter we gain new experiences and knowledge. I am sure that there are still many surprises and lessons awaiting us so I will never call myself an experienced breeder, however by attending shows, by meetings with other breeders and by exchanging experience every day we learn how to take even better care of these amazing cats.
