Almost 6 years ago, I was asked to walk a cheeky dude and his 'sister'.
At the meet and greet, he repeatedly brought me his ball to play with. On my first visit to walk him, he hid under the bed, confused why I was taking him out.
Over time with persuasion and trust, Jackson would greet me over zealously at the door, bouncing up and down. Loving my visits and our walks.
He was tiny but had a zest for life and despite loosing his eyesight 18 months ago and suffering bouts of pancreatitis, his spirit was always there. He always perked up for our walks, which grew shorter as he grew older. I used a carry bag in the first few months of him loosing his eyesight, but once he adapted, he didn't need that. He was Mr independent and just got on with what was thrown at him. Until early this week when his body grew week and his spirit was gone.
I was blessed to be welcomed to say farewell yesterday at the vets, before he peacefully passed with Julie and Malcolm by his side.
Run free my little fiesty dude.
My thoughts are with the whole of the Hall family who loved Jackson (and Lottie who we lost a few years ago) with unconditional love right to the end

We are drowning right now and in desperate need of foster homes. Please share. We provide all supplies and cover all costs

**FOSTER HOMES NEEDED**

We are finding ourselves, like all other small rescues, starting to have to turn away needy cases. If the first 2 months of 2023 are any indication as to how busy we are going to be then we are going to need to expand our fostering network.

We are in need of foster homes based in Ashington, Blyth, Cramlington, Newcastle and surrounding areas.

Potential fosters will be home checked and given all support and supplies needed.

We ask you have a spare room to keep cats separate from any existing animals safely or an animal free home.

Berties beach trip ❤

Last Thursday, Bertie went off to his forever home.
The week before, we had a lovely beach trip - video to follow.
His foster mum (along with Abby, Bruno, Jessy and Harris) have done a great job fostering and assessing this young man. Good luck dude ❤
