🐾☀️As temperatures begin to rise, please be aware that walk times may need to be altered to ensure all dogs are exercised safely before the hottest parts of the day. Some changes have already been made with the summer schedule in preparation for warmer weather.

Dogs can struggle to regulate their body temperature, and even temperatures from around 20°C can become uncomfortable or unsafe for some breeds, especially older dogs, flat-faced breeds, puppies, and dogs with thick coats. Pavements can also become extremely hot and may burn paws, even when the air temperature does not feel excessive.

Updates will be given on the day where needed, depending on temperatures and weather conditions. While I understand it may not be ideal, as this could mean your dogs are in the house for longer periods of time than usual. Their safety and wellbeing will always come first, and I will never risk walking dogs in unsafe heat conditions.

On particularly warm days, walks may be shortened, moved to shaded areas, replaced with garden visits/toilet breaks, or scheduled earlier in the morning.

May 11th-18th 🌦️

Firstly I had the absolute honour of doggie chaperoning for one of my regulars today Winston 😍 he gets 3 pictures for looking extra handsome. He was so well behaved. A huge Thank you to Mark and Ryan for trusting me on your special day a big congratulations again💍💕

We also have a brand new group member Ruby the lab join us this week. She was an absolute angel and a made a bestie with our Sol 🫶🏼

P.S My summer schedule starts from next week! ☀️
This has opened up new walking time and moved around a couple of our slots. Meaning I have the rare opportunity to take on a new walking client for Alnwick on a Tuesday and Thursday morning (pick ups from Longframlington/Shilbottle/Alnwick) please tell your family/friends or neighbours that’s been looking for a dog walker so we can get this spot filled 🐶🐾

This week has certainly been organised chaos. I would like to thank all my lovely clients for being so understanding with changes or cancellations this week. We are aiming for this week to be back to normal however I’m still without my original car so slight changes may have to be made 💕

A shorter week certainly goes by quickly. I hope it’s not just me that has been confused with what day it is.
We’ve had the lovely Beau and Bear start their holidays with us this week and they’re having the best time with the gang. 💕

📣I’m pretty much back to back with boarders from now till September- very limited spaces left so please get in touch sooner rather than later if you need your dog looked after over summer. 📣
📍Walking spaces are also limited now too. I will potentially be looking at putting an additional walk on from May in the morning if enough interest is there. So please don’t hesitate to give me a message 🫶🏼

What a wonderful week it has been, everyone has been an absolute dream. Turned 30 and spent it with 12 dogs across the day, what more could you want. 🎂🐶
I hope everyone has a lovely Easter and I’m looking forward to seeing all the doggos from Tuesday after taking an extended weekend for celebrations. 🫶🏼🌼☀️
