Last month we were delighted to be invited back to this year’s VetPartners UK New Graduate Farm Bootcamp. Our Territory Manager, Katie Pearson, delivered a workshop on oral fluid therapy, clinical nutrition and safe pump-drenching technique in cattle and small ruminants. It is great to see so many enthusiastic new Vets entering the industry from all corners of the UK and Ireland, and we are pleased to be able to help support them at the start of their careers.

Last week, the team at Ark Vet Centre - Farm and our Northern Territory Manager, Katie, visited Closeburn castle for CPD followed by escape room escapades.

The CPD session covered the importance of Acute and Sub-acute ruminal acidosis and some of the key interventions that Vets can make.

Then it was time for the team to put their problem-solving skills to the test with an escape room - thankfully everyone made it out in time Closeburn Castle & Escape room. Thank you to the team at Ark for joining us and thank you to Closeburn Castle & Escape Rooms for hosting us.

This week (August 23rd to 31st) is National Racehorse Week 🐎.

Something fun you can do this weekend before school starts, visit the trainers’ yards, studs and retraining centres across the country. Get close to the horses and get an insight into all of the work, diet and care to help get the magnificent horses into the very best shape both on the track and off.

The horse pictured is Postman owned by Becky Carter who is Ni**od’s Territory Manager in the South, out for an evening hack. An ex-racehorse Postman has competed successfully in RoR Dressage competitions qualifying last year for the RoR National Championships.

This weekend, Becky and Postman will be taking part in National Racehorse Week parading at Wilsford Stables. Home of trainer Seamus Mullins.
