December is fully booked and I have a waiting list so please try and keep to your appointments as I have little to no wiggle room. 🥴

I posted a couple of days ago that I needed you all to confirm your appointment via Fresha or contact me to make other arrangements if you can't/refuse confirm via a Fresha. I accept that some of you prefer not to and that's fine.

Unfortunately your assurance that you'll keep your appointment isn't good enough. I was told today I was very distrustful, I don't think that's the case at all. I've tried the goodwill approach and unfortunately that hasn't worked as it should. After four years I still get last minute cancellations and when I try and charge as per my policy you ghost me 👻 and that makes me sad 😭

I can only see one reason why you wouldn't want to confirm an appointment via Fresha or with a deposit and that's so you can cancel it at any point without incurring a cost to yourself whilst significantly impacting a small business.

Fortunately 99.9% of you have been more than happy to accept this policy. Thanks for being awesome!! 🥰

Those that haven't been as accepting and that have brought their bad attitude to the shop have been shown the door and had their appointment cancelled. 👋

Early December rant cos you've already drained me of any Christmas spirit. 😞

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ Policy Update ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

All appointments must now be confirmed via Fresha. If you don't want to do that then you will need to come and pay for your dogs groom, upfront in full (extra charges may still be added for fleas/matting etc. on the day of your dogs appointment will be payable on collection) at least 48 hours before their appointment. If you don't the appointment WILL be cancelled and rebooked for another customer.

Also, I will no longer allow any payments via bank transfers or payment links from my payment provider for you to pay at your leisure. I've done the work and I want paying. I don't want to spend 2 hours every Friday evening/Saturday morning chasing payments.

December is fully booked so any inquiries unanswered from this weekend, I'll get back to today and do my best to accommodate you but I can't make any promises. Anyone with a December appointment that's not confirmed will get a reminder today to confirm! Please confirm as I have dogs waiting.

I hate taking the "my business, my rules" approach but to be honest you just leave me no choice. It's been four years and I feel like a stuck record. If you don't like this, please don't forget to hit unfollow.

A couple of you have messaged to say that you'd prefer not to enter your card details in Fresha to confirm your appointment. I'll reply individually but the response will be the same for all of you........

If you don't want to confirm on Fresha, you need to come and pay upfront for your December appointment and my policy will be the same for all future appointments. If you don't want to do that then I'm afraid you don't have an appointment.
