Wilma and Walter had a great day out today at the Donside ringcraft match. Wilma won best baby puppy and Walter got the Reserve best baby puppy. Both showed really well and most importantly enjoyed showing and all the attention. Thank you to the club for putting this on and to the judge for liking our pups. Also big thanks to Chloe for taking Wilma even if she was fidgety in the ring.

Over the past few weeks we have been doing lots of socialising with Wilma and Walter. They have been to a few shows with Edna and Vera and were representing the breed at a dog event local to us. They have taken everything in their stride and seem to be completely unbothered by all the sounds, smells and dogs. They mostly love all the attention and tummy rubs they get. Edna has been doing great now she is back in the ring with 3 best of breeds out of 3 shows and Vera got shortlisted in a large group of about 20 so we are delighted with how they are all going and hope it continues.

Wilma and Walter tired after a trip to the vet for a puppy check weigh in and to get wormed. Wilma weighed in at 15.7kg and Walter at 17.0kg.
Tomorrow they have a big Easter adventure on a trip to the Basset hound Club of Scotland shows at Crawfordjohn.

On the 26th of April we are going to be representing Basset hounds and Bloodhounds in the meet the breed area. If anyone wants to come and meet the gang or to find out more about the breeds drop on by.

Well the first Culsalmond litter are doing really well. All have had their first vaccination and microchip along with a preliminary heart check which was all clear.
Now that the sun has finally appeared they are getting to go outside more and today had their first encounter of snow.
And in a few weeks they will be heading off to their new homes.
