Today, my own dog, Peggy, is a pyometra survivor!

Pyometra is a serious life-threatening uterus infection in unspayed female dogs. Please research the risks and symptoms. It could save your dogs life.

The pyo came back worse than before over the weekend, so she went in for pyo spay surgery this morning.
She's only been in my life for 8 months, I was terrified to lose her already.
But I'm glad to say she will continue to be able to get under my feet and make me roll my eyes for a while to come yet.

She's home and doing well.
