my name is fiona smith and iam the propriator and groomer at paws and claws
i have been around animals all of my life as my parents used to breed dogs when i was a child and as i got older i helped out. at the age of eleven i got my first pony,and a donkey aswell. even to this day i have two horses, and until recently two dogs ,sadly los

ing my greyhound to cancer .i also have two cats. after two or three different paths and two children ,the draw of working with animals got the better of me and i went to work with the scottish spca gaining a wide array of experience in animal welfare dealing with all sorts of domestic and wild animals. i went onto work at the mountains animal sanctuary looking after old and sick animals,horses,donkeys even lahmas. from there i decided to take up dog grooming, as i had had a taste of it in my sspca days. so i went for a residential training course in grooming and was trained by world champion groomer colin taylor and multi award winning groomer agnes murphy.then i opened paws and claws in 2007, building up a large and loyal customer base. you can be rest assured your pet will get the best care and attention at PAWS AND CLAWS.
